Echo Fox are finally starting to put together some sort of a season after playing the majority of their games so far with substitutes. They rescued their season with a 2 – 0 last week beating NRG and fellow bottom feeders Renegades to give them a hope of securing a playoff spot and a chance at some circuit points to take with them into the Summer Split. Froggen and Kfo are looking like legitimate hard carry threats, and considering Echo Fox’s bot lane were already playing solidly in the makeshift lineups, the Echo Fox roster is looking like a genuine dark horse to make a good run toward the end of the split. TSM will not want to slip up on this banana skin, their 0 – 2 last week saw them miss the chance to secure 2nd place alone in the table and the Dig loss in particular was very disappointing.
We are still not convinced by Echo Fox’s jungler, Hard, and TSM should look to expose this player in their coming matchup. Kfo had also shown a tendency to overextend in his early games at the very start of the split, and focusing on getting Hauntzer rolling in top could really help TSM succeed in this game. If Sven and Hauntzer can bully their counterparts, then TSM should take this one. In any other case, Echo Fox are looking very solid all over the map and could take an upset victory here. We are going to recommend a bet on Echo Fox looking at the odds favouring TSM relatively solidly.

Immortals (2/7 with bet365 and William Hill) vs. Counter Logic Gaming (4/1 with Betfair) – 2:00 PM local
Immortals seem to be unstoppable in their imperious Spring Split run so far, and CLG probably wouldn’t be the favourites to stop them. CLG are the definition of a solid, yet unspectacular team, going 1 – 1 in most of their weeks so far bar 2 and looking comfortable against most of the teams below them, but dropping games to the better teams like TSM and C9. Having had a relatively straightforward 2 – 0 week last week against Impulse and Renegades, two weaker teams, this will be a real test for CLG.
Xmithie will likely be very exposed in the jungle matchup here, as Reignover is looking to most like the best jungler in the west with a monster 12.0 KDA, miles ahead of his nearest competitor (which happens to be Xmithie at 5.0). Reignover has shown himself to be a terrifying early game presence, participating in 83% of his team’s first bloods, versus Xmithie’s measly 17%. By almost every measurable metric Reignover is miles ahead of Xmithie, and it makes it hard to see how CLG can keep up with lanes that are relatively low on early game impact (bar top). Unsurprisingly, we are going to go with an Immortals win here. Immortals may not go the season undefeated, but CLG will certainly not be the team to stop them here.
It is worth noting that Betfair are offering crazy long odds of 4/1 (5.0) on CLG, so a bet worth taking if you fancy taking a punt on CLG. Their chances of winning this game are slim, but not quite THAT slim.
